Back in his office, McG is looking at p0rn and quickly closes his laptop when Joe comes into his office. Joe tells McG to get ready to accompany him to meet Shellburne. McG insists on calling Danny because if he doesn’t Danny will never speak to him again. They debate whether this would be a bad thing before McG places the call. But Danny is explaining to Grace how he only wants to be where she is, so he misses his BFF’s call and McG is forced to leave a quick note. Danny then calls Rachel to tell her that he is going to fight the custody order. Good for you, Danno!
Kono pulls into her driveway while talking on the phone (bad Kono) and it’s clear she’s talking to Adam, suggesting that some takeout, a bottle of wine and flowers will compensate for the fact that in the last episode, he pointed a gun at her and duct taped her, which she tells him is very bad behavior and giggles. WTF?? I think she’s letting him off lightly – I would have at least insisted on some jewelry as well. Toothpick is watching Kono – he’s an instagram junkie now and wants more pics.
WTF?? Chin is at Halawa prison signing Delano out?? Can he just do that? Turns out that Delano is holding Kono somewhere and if Chin gets him out of prison, he’ll let her go. Yeah, about that….turns out Delano has both Kono and Malia, duct taped. I’m thinking the writers don’t like women much. Or have an unhealthy obsession with duct tape. (Delano must have heard from Adam how much it turns Kono on.) Chin has to make a big decision, because Joker Delano has given him a tough choice. He can save Malia or he can save Kono, but not both. Delano is pissed because he thinks Chin got away with being a dirty cop, while he was sent to prison for…being a dirty cop.
Delano tells Chin that both women are fifteen minutes away – Kono in a boat two miles offshore, Malia at home with a chicken dinner waiting for Chin. Just for a second, Chin is tempted to save Kono, because he TOLD Malia he was tired of chicken. But self preservation kicks in and he decides to save his wife (AS HE SHOULD!)
Toothpick receives a call from Delano, and pushes the duct-taped Kono overboard. Chin races home, smells burning chicken and finds Malia wounded on the floor. She doesn’t look good, and I fear that Chin has made the wrong decision. Only because Malia looks like toast and his dash to save her may have been in vain.
